Our consulting work is aligned with the National Action Plan Vision 2025, which establishes a goal of achieving all cost effective energy efficiency by 2025 and the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency, which identifies energy efficiency as a high priority energy resource and makes a long term commitment to stable funding to achieving all cost effective energy efficiency.
Our energy efficiency practice has four principal components:
Program Design and Implementation. We have been designing and implementing energy efficiency programs for utilities and states for two decades. These have included rebate programs, performance contracting, direct installation, technical assistance and information campaigns across the spectrum of customer classes. Integrated Resource Planning. We have led integrated resource planning studies for numerous utilities and regions to evaluate options for meeting projected load growth. The goal has been to identify the optimal mix of resources that minimizes cost, manages risk and properly accounts for externalities. The new horizon in IRP is concerned with integrated demand-side management (IDSM) that more holistically analyzes resources provided by energy efficiency, demand response and distributed generation. clients>>
Policy Analysis. We can help your organization shape and anticipate energy policy, as well as implement strategies to seize advantage through better preparation and early action.
