Energy Efficiency

Energy efficiency has become a national priority and our nation’s first fuel. Our focus is the built environment of buildings, equipment and processes.  This need was emphasized by President Obama who announced in December a $4 billion initiative for efficiency upgrades to government and private sector buildings over the next two years.

Our energy efficiency practice has four principal components. The links below provide additional information.

Policy Analysis. Ryn Hamilton Consulting can help your organization shape and anticipate energy policy, as well as implement strategies to seize advantage through better preparation and early action. We assist utilities, government and other stakeholders in an assortment of policy-related activities to advance energy efficiency technologies and behaviors.

Market Studies. Ryn Hamilton Consulting provides energy clients with the market intelligence they need to make informed decisions. This can mean evaluating the advisability of entering a particular market or achieving a fuller understanding the forces shaping their industry. Results from these studies may be used in a business plan or as a basis for investment in a particular technology.

Program Design. Ryn Hamilton Consulting has been designing utility energy efficiency programs for two decades and can help you develop programs to meet energy efficiency resource standards, air quality goals and achieve other goals.

Integrated Resource Planning. Ryn Hamilton Consulting has led integrated resource planning studies for numerous utilities and regions to identify the optimal mix of resources to meet savings goals, minimize cost and manage risk.
