Ryn Hamilton Consulting is a Boston-area company established in 1992. At the outset, we performed impact evaluations of the first generation of energy efficiency programs using statistical modeling techniques. The company has subsequently broadened so that traditional impact studies are only a small part of our practice. Our first wave of expansion was into energy efficiency program design and integrated resource planning. The consultancy continued to evolve alongside the industry it serves. With deregulation we became involved in wholesale power markets.
Structural changes have brought with it a new generation of clients facing complex strategic challenges. Much of our work today is dedicated to helping these clients respond to new market opportunities or comply with complicated new rules that have replaced earlier regulations.
Prior to forming the consultancy, Ryn Hamilton worked at NARUC, Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Council (policy), Data Resources Inc. (forecasting), National Grid (program design) and RLW Analytics (impact analysis).
Ryn Hamilton has an M.A. Econometrics and has held graduate teaching assistantships in Microeconomics, Money and Capital Markets and Econometrics.
